Fundación Lumina Empoderamiento Social TX was born from the conviction that healing and real protection do not begin solely by fleeing from danger, but by rebuilding life from within, strengthening awareness, autonomy and real opportunities.
Lumina stems from a deep understanding of the impact of violence: constant fear, the shattering of identity, emotional and economic dependence, and the feeling of not knowing how to start over. We know that, without inner strength and sustainable tools, many women continue to face cycles of violence, isolation, or forced dependence.

Therefore, our empowerment approach goes beyond immediate assistance. We support women who are victims of violence and women in vulnerable situations in a conscious process of healing, personal strengthening, and rebuilding their life plans.
We believe that a truly protected woman is one who can stand on her own two feet, make her own decisions, and move forward on her own. From this perspective, we work to generate transformations that impact not only women, but also their families and communities.
OUR SERVICES
At Fundación Lumina Empoderamiento Social TX, we work to strengthen migrant women, their families, and communities by providing comprehensive support through safe spaces, education, empowerment, and community engagement.
Our services include:
Personal, social and community empowerment workshops , aimed at strengthening self-esteem, autonomy and conscious decision making.
Psychological and social support workshops , developed through strategic alliances with professionals and allied organizations, in non-residential spaces.
Education and strengthening of the English language , as a key tool for integration, access to job opportunities and personal growth of migrant women.
Leadership training for migrant women , promoting their active participation in the community, capacity building and the construction of sustainable life projects.
Safe spaces for guidance , listening and support, where women can express themselves, heal and rebuild themselves with respect, confidentiality and human support.
